Developed a web application as my undergraduate project using Node.js and MongoDB, integrating Africa’s Talking API for GSM communication with ISPs like Safaricom and Airtel. Ngrok was used to create a secure public URL to the local server for API connectivity. The app allows users to register, check bus routes, choose seats, book buses, and make payments seamlessly.
Built a full-stack LightGBM application with Flask and Flutter to predict product demand and customer churn, performing feature engineering, model training, and real-time REST API predictions.
Developed a Movie Recommender Web App allowing user registration, subscription payments via MPESA, movie search, ratings, watchlists, and personalized recommendations using collaborative filtering, KNN, and web-scraped IMDb data, with automated database updates via APIs.
The system uses YOLOv8 to detect vehicles and SORT tracking to follow them across frames.
It counts vehicles, assigns them to lanes, and estimates speed using video-based motion analysis.
Lane-wise traffic statistics are produced in real time with visual overlays.
